OpenAI Pixel Helper (“the Extension”) helps developers and website owners inspect OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel activity in Google Chrome.

Information the Extension processes

The Extension may temporarily process:

• OpenAI Pixel IDs
• OpenAI Ads measurement events
• Custom event names
• Event payload details, such as page, product, or conversion information
• The URL associated with an event
• Request method and event timestamp

The Extension only processes this information to display pixel activity in its popup.

Local processing and storage

Detected information is processed locally in your browser.

The Extension stores detected Pixel IDs and events temporarily in Chrome’s local extension session storage. This information is associated with the relevant browser tab and is not sent to the Extension developer or to any external server. Stored information is removed when the tab is closed or the browsing session ends.

Network requests

The Extension does not create, modify, block, redirect, or transmit OpenAI Pixel requests.

Websites you visit may independently send measurement data to OpenAI or other third parties. Those requests are controlled by the website and the relevant third party, not by this Extension. This Extension only observes eligible OpenAI Pixel activity so it can display debugging information.

Information the Extension does not collect

The Extension does not intentionally collect or transmit:

• Names
• Email addresses
• Passwords
• Authentication credentials
• Payment information
• Health information
• Personal communications
• Location information

The Extension does not sell, rent, or share user data.

Permissions

The Extension requests access to web requests, navigation events, temporary browser storage, and webpages because these permissions are required to detect OpenAI Pixel activity on arbitrary websites and display it for debugging.

Data security

Because information is processed locally and is not uploaded to a developer-controlled server, the Extension does not maintain a remote database of user activity. Users should only install the Extension from trusted sources.

Children’s privacy

The Extension is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Extension’s functionality or data practices change. Updates will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
